Maids & Flowergirls

Maids & Flowergirls

Bridesmaids and Flowergirl bouquets tend to follow the design and floral selections of the bridal flowers. Generally created smaller than the bridal bouquet and not as elaborate.

Some couples opt to change the colour ratio slightly on the maids flowers. That's fine and certainly isn't a problem. We can guide you with this.

"How do I match my colours?"

During your consultations as florist we have access to a wealth of florals in our temperature controlled flower fridge. We offer a FREE colour match meeting where we encourage you both to bring along an example of your stationery, maids dresses or a sample swatch.

We then show you real flowers in your colours. Its also a benefit to see the unique characteristics of each flower and to spell the natural fragrance of the blooms.

"Where do I put the maids bouquet after the ceremony?"

There are several options that we suggest:

Place them in vases either on the top table, cake table or on occasional tables around your venue.

We have glass vases that are perfect to display them in that are available to hire.

For couples who love gypsophila the compact posy of white fresh gypsophila is very popular.

Created in a ball shape with the choice of satin, lace or string bound on the stems.

If you are wanting the design to have more florals its fine, as the design can be amended to include small floral touches and foliages such as eucalyptus.

Flower wands are so cute and perfect.

Small delicate florals in colours to compliment your wedding selection and having trailing ribbons and bow.
