Natural & Rustic at The Mill Barns
We meet so many couples and their families along the journey of planning your wedding flowers. This couple we will never forget. They had many sentimental items and flowers with specific meanings that we discussed during the planning stages. It was lovely to see it all come together. It touched our hearts.
The venue chosen was The Mill Barns, located near Bridgnorth which lends itself to be styled to reflect the couple. Vaulted ceilings with solid wood beams and large windows letting in masses of light, allowed all the colours within the designs to come to life.
The brief was natural, rustic and wild flowers. We selected the colour range with the couple during our colour match meeting and it was clear that we had to include Forget-Me-Knots which had a very special family meaning.
The couples favourite florals were Hydrangea, Amnesia roses, and lilac Eustoma. Other florals and foliage's were added that complimented their favourite selections and added the range of colours that they loved.
The bride asked us also to include a selection of artificial flowers from her Moms bouquet that had been kept safe. They had so much meaning and they looked great within her selection.
We always stand back and admire our Moon gate in the ceremony room at The Mill Barns. It works so well there and then we moved it to behind the sweetheart table after the ceremony. A great example of double using your flowers for maximum impact.
The great decision made by this couple was to use our FULL services allowing us to empty the civil room after the ceremony and reset-up all the displays in the main wedding room. They had double usage of the displays which added greater impact for the rest of their day.
The couple opted for a banqueting style table layout. The long tables looked so effective with mixed vases with the beautiful fresh florals. The sweetheart table was decorated with the civil table arrangement with the moon gate behind, bringing everything together.
We also dressed the cake table with her Moms veil.

The couple took advantage of our artificial range for the stairs. We are more than happy to mix up your order between fresh and artificial. Our Faux flowers and foliage's are so life like. It adds impact in bigger areas for a great savings on your budget. We added glass and candles for a beautiful welcome to the guests and a great backdrop for their pictures.
