Dreamy Pinks at Pendrell Hall
Pendrell Hall is a big favourite of ours when it comes to styling. Yes, we shouldn't have a favourite, but our relationship with this beautiful building goes back along way. Before the full restoration programme that transformed it to the charismatic wedding venue that we see today, we also set up weddings when it used by owned by the local council and during term times was an adult education centre. Very different to now, I'm sure we have pictures in our archives somewhere!
Located in Codsall Wood, a pretty village located on the outskirts of Wolverhampton stands this great venue.
The couple chose the colour ranges of dusky pinks, pale pinks, mauve and ivory for their florals. They both loved a natural style and where they could wanted to incorporate garden flowers. They was keen to create a natural vibe to the day and after their consultations we all decided to use the following selection as a starting point:
Amnesia roses, Sweet Avalanche roses, Butterfly ranunculus, Double pale pink freesias, Rosita eustoma, Nigella, waxflower & lavender. For interest we added senecio and mixed varieties of eucalyptus for texture and definition.
We then added additional delicate florals to enhance and compliment the theme and colours.
The maids flowers were designed similar to the bridal flowers. They were slightly smaller but equally as pretty.
Pendrell Hall's entrance room was restored with so much consideration. Beautiful arts and crafts were added and the original floors, leaded windows and staircase makes a lovely first impression.
We always recommend a display to be placed on the entrance table. It is the first detail your guests will see of your wedding. A carefully designed display always sets the style and adds a welcome to your guests.
The staircase is a beautiful area not to be overlooked. We often create a sweeping display on the bottom newell post. Its definitely worth budgeting for a display as in addition to connecting the entrance to the ballroom, both your day and night guests will be walking past the display all day.
The complete installation of this styling we fell in love with.
Our large riser arch, draped in organza with eyecatching sprays of flowers should so proud behind the ceremony table looked fabulous.
The ceremony table has a pretty arrangement to stand infront during their vows. After the ceremony this was moved to the head/top table.
Crisp white chair drapes tied with a touch of eucalptyus styled the ceremony chairs to perfection.
The final finishing touch was to the aisle. When you opt for your ceremony in the ballroom, the aisle is so long and full of light from the overhead dramatic glass. We scattered fresh white rose petals along the aisle and lit church candles shielded in glass cylinders to ensure all the guests and the bridal party enjoyed the luxury and prettiness walking down the aisle. Everything looked amazing and the florals really bought it all together.
" Thank you!
